This is such an important insight to share, CJ. I've sensed it with friends in the US - given the cost of care and college, but with friends in UK, Europe too, partner-caregivers or eldercarers.
I had numerous, bite-sized discussions that built into being meaningful to disentangle fears. However, our situation was compounded by vascular dementia, so repetitive reassurance and reminders of our plan were essential.
